What to expect

Cosmopack 2027 is the leading international event fully dedicated to the entire beauty supply chain, and is the supply-side salon of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the 58th edition of the world’s most important beauty trade show. It is the only global trade fair that covers every link of the cosmetics production process under one roof, from raw materials and ingredients to contract manufacturing, packaging and machinery.

The 2027 edition returns to BolognaFiere Exhibition Centre as part of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna’s rich portfolio. For three days, BolognaFiere is expected to welcome over 250,000 professional buyers and more than 3,000 suppliers representing the entire beauty and cosmetics supply chain, from more than 60 countries. Cosmopack is where formulation meets packaging production, where ingredient innovation meets automation, and where brand owners meet turnkey solution providers.

What makes Cosmopack unique is its focus on business-to-business solutions. It is not the finished-product fair, but the event where beauty brands, from global multinationals to indie and startup brands, source new suppliers, compare technologies side by side, assess scalability, identify options for improving productivity and integration, and launch new collaborations. It spans every sector, every category, and nearly every continent, offering an energizing, collaborative, valuable, and solution-focused experience.

The event maintains the formula of three large salons: Cosmopack, Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, and Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon, creating a unique business ecosystem that brings every beauty sector under one roof. Cosmopack 2027 will be held from March 18 to March 20, 2027, Thursday to Saturday, at BolognaFiere Exhibition Centre. Cosmopack and Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics will be open from March 18 to 20, while Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon will be scheduled from March 18 to 21, maintaining the three-salon structure. All three events open on March 18.

Opening hours are typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM for exhibitors and visitors, with early access for exhibitors. Registration opens months in advance, with online ticketing strongly recommended.

Cosmopack 2027 takes place at BolognaFiere Exhibition Centre, Piazza della Costituzione 5, Bologna, 40128, Italy, one of Europe’s largest and most modern exhibition centers, with over 375,000 square meters of exhibition space.

By Air: Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is located about 6 kilometers from fairground, with direct bus service Aerobus BLQ connecting airport to Bologna Centrale train station and fairground area in about 20 minutes.

By Train: Bologna Centrale is one of Italy’s major railway hubs, with high-speed Frecciarossa and Italo trains from Milan in about 1 hour, Florence in 37 minutes, Rome in about 2 hours, and Venice in about 1.5 hours. From station, fairground is reachable by bus or taxi in 10 to 15 minutes.

By Car: Bologna is at intersection of A1, A13, and A14 motorways, with fairground exit Bologna Fiera clearly signposted. Parking available at fairground.

By Taxi and rideshare: Taxi stands at airport, train station, and fairground entrances.
