The official programme contains approximately 30 events, including concerts, recitals, chamber performances, forums, innovation projects and interdisciplinary productions.
Auditorium San Luigi, Trani
Piazza Lambert 15, Trani, Italy
The Auditorium San Luigi hosts the Trani portion of the festival and provides the setting for young-star recitals, chamber music, orchestra projects and innovation activities.

Hamelin appears in a major piano recital at Teatro Kursaal Santalucia, presenting works by Weinberg, Chopin, Enescu, Debussy and Wild.
Anna Fedorova
Fedorova is featured in the international-star recital programme with a selection of Beethoven, Brahms and Schumann.
Gidon Kremer
The renowned violinist leads a chamber-music programme with Katrīna Pelnēna, Mauro Paolo Monopoli and Massimiliano Monopoli, featuring works by Morricone, Schubert, Weinberg and Kancheli.
Sergei Babayan
Babayan presents an extensive solo recital combining Romantic repertoire, Armenian music, Spanish works, French music and arrangements of well-known songs.
Auditorium San Luigi
The Trani venue is the main performance space for the opening portion of the festival. It hosts young international pianists, piano-and-orchestra projects, chamber music and innovation events.
Teatro Kursaal Santalucia
The Bari theatre becomes the main performance venue for internationally recognised pianists, chamber ensembles, orchestral programmes and interdisciplinary productions.
Pianolab spaces
The festival’s educational programme includes masterclasses and advanced piano-training activities connected with recognised teachers and performers.
The festival therefore operates as a multi-venue classical music programme rather than a conventional outdoor festival with multiple simultaneous stages.
Auditorium San Luigi, Trani
The Trani programme includes International Young Star concerts, future-star piano recitals, chamber music and the Fluxus and Happening innovation project.
The opening orchestra project features Giuseppe Monopoli conducting the Orchestra Filarmonica del Mediterraneo and musicians connected with Minhae Lee’s piano school. Other performances include Anna Harper, Sebastian Herrera, Emanuele La Marca and Giuseppe La Marca, Eloisa Cascio, Artem Stovbun and Sofia Petrova.
Teatro Kursaal Santalucia, Bari
The Bari programme features Marc-André Hamelin, Anna Fedorova, Francesco Nicolosi, Pierluigi Camicia, Wataru Mashimo, Gidon Kremer, Sergei Babayan and Jessica Yuma.
Additional programmes include contemporary music, musicological study days, theatre and dance, piano-and-voice performances, chamber music and the final piano-and-orchestra concert with Suah Ye and Alberto Maniaci.
Most major evening concerts are scheduled for 8:00 PM.
The programme also contains daytime events, particularly piano recitals, study forums and educational activities. Some morning performances begin at 11:00 AM, while innovation and forum activities may have earlier afternoon or morning schedules.
Visitors should check the individual event listing before attending because the start time varies by performance.
The festival offers individual tickets as well as multi-concert subscriptions.
Individual concert tickets
Single tickets are available for individual performances, with prices varying according to the event and venue.
Current 2026 listings show prices ranging from approximately $4.60 for some young-star performances to around $20 for major international concerts. These amounts are converted from the currently listed ticket prices and may exclude booking or service charges.
Trani festival subscription
The complete Auditorium San Luigi subscription is listed from approximately $41 for the festival’s Trani concerts.
Bari full subscription
The complete Teatro Kursaal subscription is listed from approximately $164, while reduced Under-25 and Over-65 access is listed from approximately $164 for the published full subscription structure.
Partial Bari subscriptions
Visitors can also purchase separate subscription packages covering the first or second portion of the Bari programme. Current listings show packages from approximately $82 and $84 respectively.
The festival does not currently advertise a separate VIP hospitality programme comparable to commercial music festivals.
Its premium-style option is primarily the multi-concert subscription, allowing audiences to reserve access to a series of performances rather than purchasing every concert separately.
Subscription options are available for both the Trani and Bari portions of the programme, while individual concerts can be purchased separately.
Festival attendance follows the access rules of the individual theatres and auditorium.
Visitors should:
Because the programme uses established indoor cultural venues, visitors should follow the specific regulations communicated by Teatro Kursaal Santalucia or Auditorium San Luigi for each event.
From Bari
Bari is the main transport hub for the festival’s Bari performances. Visitors arriving at Bari can reach the city centre and Teatro Kursaal Santalucia using local public transport or taxi services.
From Trani
Trani is connected to Bari and other Puglian cities by rail, making it possible to combine the festival with a wider trip around the region.
En voiture
Both Trani and Bari can be reached by road from other parts of Puglia and southern Italy. Visitors travelling between the two cities should allow additional time around evening concert periods.
Train
Rail travel is a practical option for reaching both Trani and Bari. Bari is a major regional railway hub, while Trani is served by regional rail connections.
Local transport
Once in Bari or Trani, visitors can use city buses, taxis and walking routes depending on the venue.
Parking
Neither festival venue functions as a dedicated festival parking site. Visitors arriving by car should use nearby public or private parking facilities and allow time to walk from the parking area to the venue.
For evening performances, arriving early is recommended because central parking can become more difficult around busy cultural venues.
Bari city centre
A convenient base for visitors attending several performances at Teatro Kursaal Santalucia, with restaurants, cafés, transport links and attractions nearby.
Borgo Murattiano, Bari
This central district provides easy access to the theatre and Bari’s main pedestrian and commercial areas.
Trani historic centre
A good option for visitors focusing on the Auditorium San Luigi and wanting to stay close to Trani’s historic streets and waterfront.
Trani waterfront
The waterfront area combines accommodation with restaurants and access to the historic centre.
Bari and Trani combination
Visitors attending the full festival can split their accommodation between the two cities or choose Bari as a base and travel to Trani for the earlier programme.
The festival venues are located within established urban areas, so visitors can dine at restaurants, cafés and bars before or after performances.
In Bari, visitors can explore traditional Puglian dishes including orecchiette, focaccia barese, seafood, local vegetables and regional wines.
Trani also offers a strong seafood tradition and a historic waterfront dining scene. Visitors attending evening concerts can plan dinner before the performance or choose a restaurant after the concert.
The festival itself is primarily focused on music rather than a dedicated food market or festival catering area.
Accessibility depends on the individual venue and event configuration.
Both principal venues are established cultural spaces, but visitors requiring wheelchair access, accessible seating or other assistance should contact the organisers or venue before purchasing or attending a performance.
For specific accessibility requirements, visitors can contact the festival at info@accademiafilarmonica-internazionale-mediterraneo.com and confirm the arrangements for the relevant performance.

For contemporary projects
The contemporary music programme includes an innovation forum and a dedicated Piano Contemporary Music concert featuring new works.
