What to expect

Salone Nautico di Venezia, Venice Boat Show, is one of the principal international fairs for boating, shipbuilding and maritime innovation, held in the historic Arsenale di Venezia. The 2027 edition marks the 8th edition, organized by Vela Spa and promoted by Comune di Venezia in collaboration with Marina Militare Italiana. The exhibition venue is Arsenale of Venice, symbol of the power and military might of the Serenissima Republic and heart of its naval industry, an incomparable historical context in the heart of Venice.

The show offers an exceptional setting to explore a range of innovative products and enjoy an exclusive program of talks, world debuts, and regattas. The heart of the event is once again the Arsenale, which, with more than 55,000 square meters of water surface and over one kilometre of pontoons, hosts yachts, catamarans, inflatable boats, traditional vessels and solutions dedicated to electric and hybrid navigation. Over 300 vessels are expected on display, from large 30-meter vessels including catamarans to fully electric models, hybrid solutions and highly energy-efficient prototypes.

Environmental stewardship remains a defining characteristic of the show, which operates under the ISO 20121:2024 certification for sustainable event management. The edition gives large space to theme of sustainability, with focus on innovation in propulsion, electric, hybrid and hydrogen. The P2 dock and E-Village are specifically designated as showcases for green boating, featuring hydrogen technology, hybrid engines and electric propulsion. The show includes meetings, presentations and thematic congresses, E-Village dedicated to electric boats participating in the E-Regatta, exhibitions, art installations, guided tours and educational activities for children, water trials, trophies and sports regattas, design and craft stands, technology, nautical furniture, refreshment points with Venetian specialties, bars and merchandising points.

Salone Nautico di Venezia 2027 will be held from May 26th to May 30th 2027, Wednesday to Sunday, at Arsenale di Venezia. The seventh edition concluded with five days that confirmed the city as a leading international hub for boating, shipbuilding and maritime innovation. The dates for next edition are already set: from May 26 to 30, 2027, the Arsenale will once again open its doors to shipyards, professionals and visitors from around the world.

Opening hours are typically 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, last admission 7:00 PM, with extended hours on Saturday. The program includes five days of exhibition, water trials, conferences, regattas and evening events.

The venue is Arsenale di Venezia, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy, symbol of secular military domination of Republic Serenissima. The Arsenale becomes ideal stage to host excellence of international shipbuilding.

The exhibition site features a water basin of 55,000 square meters, over 1,500 linear meters of piers in earlier editions and over 1,100 linear meters in recent editions, 30,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition spaces, and covered pavilions for approximately 10,000 meters in total. Indoor areas host displays of latest-generation engines, full-electric and hybrid propulsion solutions, onboard energy management systems, advanced electronics and innovative materials designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Entrances include Arsenale – Ships pavilion, Giardino delle Vergini by free shuttle boat, and Bacini – Arsenale Nord. All entrances are within walking distance of main access points to city. For people with reduced mobility, Bacini – Arsenale Nord entrance is recommended.

The site includes bars, refreshment points, official merchandising points, baby-changing facilities. Small dogs are allowed, medium or large dogs are not allowed. No cloakroom service.
