The Naturosa Catania Marathon is Sicily’s coastal marathon that transforms the Etna coastline into a huge open-air stage. Established in 2018 to bring the sport of marathon running back to Catania, this event has grown from a circuit on Viale Kennedy counting participation of over 1000 athletes in its first three editions to a certified route through Catania’s historical center that has earned recognition from FIDAL and World Athletics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expect a completely flat course bathed in light and colors of the Catania coast, where every step is accompanied by energy of the sea and warmth of the crowd. The heart of the event beats on the sea, with a route that runs entirely along the coast amid scent of salty sea air, open horizon and unique scenery dominated by Mount Etna.
