Sequoie Music Park returns to the Parco delle Caserme Rosse in Bologna for its seventh edition, continuing its reign as one of the most significant live music events in the Italian summer calendar. Organised by Unipol Arena and led by artistic director Gualtiero Sabatini, the festival has grown steadily since its inception, attracting over one hundred thousand attendees in recent editions and hosting more than seventy artists each year across a diverse range of genres .

The 2027 edition will follow the established format that has made Sequoie a fixture of the Bologna summer, presenting a curated series of concerts spanning rock, pop, indie, hip-hop, metal, and cantautorato. The festival is not a traditional multi-day event with a single lineup, but rather a season-long series of individual concert evenings, each featuring a different headliner or combination of artists. This structure allows the festival to present an extraordinarily broad spectrum of music while maintaining an intimate and focused atmosphere at each performance .

For 2027, visitors can expect the continuation of the festival’s commitment to artistic excellence and accessibility, with a programme that balances major international names with leading Italian artists and emerging talents. The Parco delle Caserme Rosse provides a lush, open-air setting for the performances, with the Mercato degli Ulivi offering food, drink, and a convivial gathering space before and after the concerts .

Sequoie Music Park 2027 will take place across June and July 2027. The exact dates are to be confirmed (TBD), with the organisers expected to announce the full schedule in the early months of 2027. The festival has traditionally occupied a mid-June to late-July window, with the 2026 edition running from 16 June to 23 July and the 2025 edition running from 17 June to 17 July .

Given the festival’s pattern of announcing dates alongside initial lineup reveals, further details regarding the precise June and July dates for 2027 should be available through the official website as the event approaches. Prospective attendees are advised to monitor the official channels for announcements.

The Parco delle Caserme Rosse serves as the host venue for Sequoie Music Park 2027, located at Via di Corticella 147, 40128 Bologna . The park is a green space that has been transformed into one of Bologna’s premier summer entertainment destinations, offering an open-air setting that combines the intimacy of a concert venue with the relaxed atmosphere of a festival park.

The venue is organised around a main stage area with standing and seating options, including Pit, Posto Unico, and Tribuna Numerata categories . The Mercato degli Ulivi operates within the park throughout the festival, offering food, drinks, and a programme of DJ sets and live performances on its own stage, open to all attendees free of charge .

The park is designed to facilitate a comfortable and immersive concert experience, with the natural surroundings of the Caserme Rosse providing a distinctive backdrop for performances. The venue is accessible by public transport and car, with parking information available through the official festival channels.

The full lineup for Sequoie Music Park 2027 has not yet been announced. Each evening features a primary artist or a curated bill of performers, with the closing act serving as the evening’s headliner.

The festival has a strong record of attracting major international artists for exclusive Italian appearances. In 2026, Three Days Grace, Idles, and Interpol all performed as part of Italian-exclusive tour dates . In 2025, Jorja Smith and Alice Cooper chose Sequoie for their only Italian stops .

Italian artists also feature prominently, with Caparezza’s 2026 dates selling out in advance, and Litfiba celebrating the fortieth anniversary of their landmark album “17 Re” on the Sequoie stage . The festival’s ability to present both established legends and contemporary innovators in a single season is central to its appeal.

Sequoie Music Park operates a primary stage for its main concert programme, with the Mercato degli Ulivi hosting a secondary stage for DJ sets, live music, and performances throughout the festival evenings . The main stage is equipped with professional sound and lighting systems capable of supporting large-scale touring productions.

The venue offers multiple viewing areas, with standing space in the Pit and Posto Unico sections and numbered seating in the Tribuna Numerata . The open-air nature of the park ensures excellent sightlines and a sense of connection between performers and audience that is distinctive to the Sequoie experience.

The Mercato degli Ulivi functions as the social heart of the festival, offering food, drink, and a curated programme of music from Bologna’s DJ scene and emerging artists. It is open to all attendees free of charge during concert evenings and serves as a gathering point before and after the main performances .

As a series of individual concert evenings rather than a traditional multi-day festival, Sequoie Music Park does not operate a continuous stage schedule across multiple days. Each evening features one primary concert programme on the main stage, typically beginning in the late evening, with the Mercato degli Ulivi offering ancillary programming before and after.

The detailed schedule for each 2027 concert will be published alongside individual event announcements. For reference, 2026 concerts typically had doors opening in the evening, with headliners taking the stage around 21:30 .

Set times at Sequoie Music Park typically see headliners taking the stage at approximately 21:30, with doors opening earlier in the evening to allow attendees to enjoy the Mercato degli Ulivi and find their places in the venue . Concert lengths vary depending on the artist, with most headline performances running between ninety minutes and two hours.

Specific set times for each 2027 concert will be communicated by the organisers closer to the event. Attendees are advised to arrive early to secure parking and to enjoy the full festival experience at the Mercato degli Ulivi.

Sequoie Music Park operates a per-concert ticketing model, with separate tickets required for each evening’s performance. While specific 2027 pricing has not yet been announced, the 2026 edition provides a reliable reference for expected costs.

For 2026, tickets for individual concerts started from approximately $40 USD (converted from €39, before commissions) . Tickets were available through the official festival website, TicketOne, and Dice .

Ticket categories typically include:

Purchase limits of up to four tickets per customer may apply to certain events .

Sequoie Music Park does not currently advertise formal VIP or hospitality packages for its concerts. The festival’s ticketing structure is focused on providing accessible options across the Pit, Posto Unico, and Tribuna Numerata categories.

The intimate scale of the Parco delle Caserme Rosse means that all areas of the venue offer a relatively close and immersive concert experience. Attendees seeking a premium experience may find that the Tribuna Numerata offers the most comfortable viewing option, with numbered seating and an elevated perspective on the stage.

Attendees at Sequoie Music Park are expected to comply with standard concert venue regulations and the specific rules established by the organisers. The festival publishes a full regolamento (regulation document) on its official website, which all attendees are encouraged to consult before purchasing tickets and attending .

Rules regarding prohibited items, photography policies, entry procedures, and venue conduct are communicated through the official channels. Given the outdoor park setting, attendees should be prepared for varying weather conditions and should dress appropriately for an evening of live music in an open-air environment.

The Parco delle Caserme Rosse is located at Via di Corticella 147, 40128 Bologna . Those wishing to combine the concerts with sightseeing may prefer accommodation in Bologna’s historic centre, with easy access to the city’s renowned culinary and cultural attractions.

Booking accommodation in advance is strongly recommended, particularly for concerts by major artists, as Bologna’s accommodation capacity can be stretched during peak summer periods.

Food and drink are integral to the Sequoie Music Park experience, with the Mercato degli Ulivi serving as the festival’s culinary and social hub. The Mercato offers a range of food and beverage options, from traditional Bolognese and Italian cuisine to international street food, along with bars and refreshment stands .

The Mercato is open during concert evenings and is free to enter, providing a relaxed and convivial atmosphere where attendees can gather before and after the main performances.
